the Mongol Messenger
the Mongol Messenger: "Mystery solved. Has the great Khaan’s burial site been found? The location of Chinggis Khaan’s tomb has been the object of much speculation and research. He died in 1227 and his burial site remains a mystery. Several Mongolian scholars have announced that the big Ovoo on top of Burkhan Khaldun Mountain (2362m above sea level) in the Khentii Mountain range, is Chinggis Khaan’s tomb. The scholars announced their discovery during a press conference by Tenger Ugsaa Association head, N. Davaa, and National University of Mongolia professor, Dr. Z. Batsaikhan, on October 24."
