21 Artfart "Tax payer's money"
Where does this idea come from that the tax payers generate money? Money is an accounting device, regulated by our government.
If it really bothers you to pay taxes, we could instead have the Fed just print money in some proportion to what we each earn or own.
Then you would pay zero taxes.
Would that make you happier?
The only meaningful measure is disposable income. If paying more in taxes increases my ability to save or buy, then I win. As one example, it is likely that a govt healthcare system would save us all money but increase taxes. If we all get payed more because Beoing isn;t in hock to Aetna, and less than that amount goes to taxes why give a penguin turd about the taxes?
