McCain Jesus on a Cross
Georgia Republican Party chairwoman Sue Everhart compared Senator John McCain to Jesus on the cross. The statement took place at the state's GOP Convention on May 17-18, 2008. Everhart went on to explain that during McCain's time as a prisoner of war, he never denounced God.
