Al Franken is certainly not your classmate, at any school or at any time. Had you taken the few seconds required to google either his campaign website or his Wikipedia entry, you would have learned that he was born on May 21, 1951 and graduated from Harvard in 1973.

So I was spot on at DL the other day, when I guessed that he's around my age ... I'm eight months older than Al and graduated from another New England Ivy in 1972.

Tx, not bad to be wrong in this case!

To defend myself, Franken and I had met and my claim came from that discussion not from looking it up in the Wiki. I suppo0se it may simply be that we had reminisced about about similar experiences with polituics at the College.

It is great to know he is younger than I .. I expect him to have a great carear..
