Is God "Good?"

A major reason for being concerned about the ease with which Christianity turns to hatred is the willingness of good people, even the current top runner for head of NIH, to promote these beliefs. As much as I admire the good Chrsitianity has done .. from Jimmy Carter to John XXIII, perhaps uniquely among respectable human institutions, the Church glorifies itself without ever accepting responsibility for its own deeds. or being willing to examine the meaning of its meeage in historical terms.
