Fallout from Kilpatrick lingers

Former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, who resigned one year ago today, is faring better than the city he abandoned. He's living comfortably in a wealthy, gated community outside Dallas, while the city he said he would "never quit on" has struggled in his wake. Bankruptcies and sullied careers can be traced to Kilpatrick. His mistress went to jail. The city lost millions of dollars and a year's worth of redevelopment. - 1:12 am
