Pakistan Urges Int'l Community to Convince India for Peace Talks: "ISLAMABAD, May 20 (Xinhuanet) -- Pakistan on Monday urged the international community to convince India for negotiations with Pakistan to end the ongoing tension between the two neighbors.
'We hope the international community will increase further its efforts to convince India to come to the negotiating table for discussions with Pakistan,' Foreign Ministry spokesman Aziz Ahmed Khan said at a press briefing on Monday in Islamabad.
India has been refusing to hold talks with Pakistan, saying Islamabad must first end its support to cross-border terrorism. Pakistan denies the charge and calls for dialogue with India on the issue."
