Russia and Poland trade insults on 70th anniversary of World War Two - Telegraph: "As world leaders gather in the Polish city of Gdansk today to commemorate the first shots of the conflict, Poles are fuming over what they perceive as an insulting Russian propaganda campaign targeting their nation.
In the days leading up to anniversary, Russian media has aired a string of accusations against Poland, claiming that Warsaw intended to collaborate with Hitler in an invasion of the Soviet Union, and that Jozef Beck, Poland's foreign minister in 1939, was a German agent. Moscow broadcasters have also claimed that there was a 'German hand' in the 1940 Katyn massacre of thousands of Polish PoWs, an atrocity generally held to have been the exclusive work of Stalin's secret police."

The problem lies at the heart of you agree to what you did was wrong while I am unblemished by what I did to you. When Poland invaded in 1919 and took over most of Belorussia and Western Ukraine in the aftermath of which at least a 100k of Sov PoWs "died" in Polish camps noone complained because of the Red scare at the time. But 30 years later the shoe got on the other foot and complains galore.
Up to 1935/6 Poland actively supported Germany in the case of Cezchs and Austrians where by in both cases they got parts of land or territorial disputes were eliminated. But when they received same treatment post facto thats clearly wrong?
The whole notion of today is performed in essence to create a victim mentality without equal acceptance of responsibility for the sake of future leverage.
