This seems to be a quantifiable issue. Certainly conservatives are wealthier so they are more likely to own new toilets. That might mean they flush less.
Also, liberals read more and do so on the toilet. Reading more means more frequent flushes. Again .. advantage is to the conservatives.
Conservatives buy name brand soft and soluble t-paper, easy to flush. Liberals buy recycled new print, hard to flush that stuff.
liberals eat lotsa vegetarian, ethnic food. This smells bad! Flush more. Seems likley that Liberals are the bad guys when it comes to flushed."
So, it seems likley that a real study would show that conservatives conserve toilet water?
