The Xannukah Ham

Well, here we are once again at Channukah time. So we Jews get to sing about beatng the shit oout of the Greeks, throwing the bastards out of our temple, and honoring our terrorist heroes for their courage. All in the name of Jesus ..or ?????

Anyhow a gourmet grocery store has figured out the ultimate solution ot the Jewish problem .. Channukah HAM!!

I never did understand howsit that the goyem adopted eating pig? WWJD is pretty clear on that issue. The Nazarene dis a lot of odd things .. walking on water, disrupting the state bank, gettin himself crucified ...BUT this is the ultimate miracle, making piug kosher! Will wonders never cease?

NancyKay Shapiro - Let's all eat trafe for Chanukah!: "Action: I'm sort of staring at the meat display, lots of salamis and sausages, and then various hams. And the hams' price signs have all been tagged with festive PERFECT FOR CHANUKAH banners. Which I blinked at for a couple of secs, trying to decide if this was an example of truly monumental cluelessness or ... nah. It's just the Department of Monumental Cluelessness, Well-Meaning Division."

Balducci's offers ham for Chanukah: "Oy vey! Pork for Chanukah? The Greenwich Village gourmet grocery store, Balducci's, has become the butt of the Jewish holiday by advertising its boneless hams as 'Delicious for Chanukah.' Manhattan novelist Nancy Kay Shapiro, 46, spotted the kosher faux pas while browsing the meat section Saturday at the chain's outpost at Eighth Ave. and W. 14th St. When Shapiro went back Sunday, she took photos of the unorthodox display promoting boneless spiral-cut hams for $8.99 a pound, petite smoked hams for $6.99 a pound and boneless smoked hams for $6.29 a pound. Instead of pointing out the mistake to management, she posted the snapshots on her blog to 'amuse others.'"

Male Martha: Hannukah Ham?: "Hannukah Ham? Not a mistake that would have been made at Zabars! But Balducci's, well thats a different story. Nancy Kay Shapiro noticed Balducci's selling ham embosed with the sign 'Delicious for Chanukah' and wisely took photos, which she has posted on her web site. If you like the photos, you can now buy the mugs at her Cafepress store."
