Censoring Sally Field .. and Mothers
Gold Derby by Tom o'Neil - The Envelope: "'If mothers ruled the world, there wouldn't be any god -' Emmy winner Sally Field said before the Emmycast cut off her sound and pointed the camera away from the stage so viewers would be distracted. Chopped off were the words 'god-damned wars in the first place.' 'This belongs to all the mothers of the world - may they be seen and valued,' she added when she won best actress in a drama series for her work as matriarch Nora Walker on 'Brothers & Sisters.' While the two-time Oscar winner already has two Emmys, this was her first nomination for series work, and she bested a field that included favorite Edie Falco of 'The Sopranos.'"

Thought the stations have delay sequence after Janet Jackson's "wardrobe malfunction". Sounds like political commentary by the station that wants everyone Pro-War. Was it a Fox or Murdoch owned station? Disgusting! Thanks for posting SJ.
I think this has more to do with the neutering of the MSM than with her mild obscenity.
Faux is the only MSM that has any edge and that one is a switchblade.
Sally said if mothers ruled there would be no wars. Can someone inform Sally that Hillary, mother of Chelsea, voted for the Iraq war.
I suspect Ms. Field knows that. Feminist self congratulation is charming.
For that matter i suspect Britney Spears would be a worse President than GWB.
